AKA the Walrus, Truelove, or Olly. Food, food, food! Thinking about food, talking about food, cooking food or eating food all rank highly in Olly’s top ten list of fun things to do. From his first job peeling vegetables in a kitchen at 14, through to waiting tables in numerous restaurants and then managing a restaurant, Olly has many years experience in hospitality, as well as many more years of experience as a customer! After a break from the food industry, Olly realised that he wanted his passion for food to be more than just a hobby and so set about earning a diploma in Food and Wine from Leiths Cooking School. Soon after meeting Ollie, they realised their mutual love for food and design and fun and Walrus and Otter was born. The rest as they say is history!
AKA the Otter, the Whirlwind or simply Ollie, this veritable dynamo of creative talent and can often be found deep in thought on her latest project, running on Hampstead Heath or deciding what to cook for dinner (and quite often all three at once!). With a BA in Public Art and Sculpture from the Glasgow School of Art, a masters in Landscape Architecture and a work ethic to rival the best, she is a woman who gets things done. From landscape architect to dog lover, conceptualist to personal trainer, painter to chef, she is always on the go but is rarely happier than in the occasional moment when we get to potter around our kitchen, glass of wine in hand, batting around some ideas and cooking a delicious supper for friends.
